Event: The New School Prom
During my time as the Chair of Major Events at Parsons School of Design, The New School, along with my job as the planner and organiser of events, I also took up the job of managing our social media handle as the Chair of Communications. Not because I was crazy and wanted to exhaust myself, but because I really enjoyed editing photos our school mascot Gnarls in different poses and placing them in various comical and fantastical situations! This even helped our social media followers and engagement to grow! The best news is that we had over 600 attendees for our Prom event! We had to book two halls because of the surprising number of students who were interested! If you want a sneak peek into my job as the Chair of Major Events as well: the part I enjoyed most was sourcing decoration, making floor plans and decorating the hall with my team!
